Direct Deposit Information

January 1st, 2013

For Direct Deposit  (or withdrawal) to your CIFCU Account, you will need the information found below:

Routing & Transit/ABA Number  =  2420 7664 3

Your Checking Account  =  00000xxxx010  (where xxxx is your 4 digit account number; adjust the leading zeroes if you have a 3 or 5 digit account number)

Your Savings Account  =  00000xxxx000  (where xxx is your 4 digit account number; adjust the leading zeroes if you have a 3 or 5 digit account number)

Shared Branching

Credit unions have joined together to “share” their facilities as a way to provide convenient service to their credit union members.  Wherever you see the Shared Branching “swirl,” you can conduct financial transactions at that credit union location.

What can you do at a Shared Branching location?  Almost everything you normally do with a teller at CIFCU, and there’s no additional charge to you.  You can make deposits, withdraw money, cash checks, transfer funds, make loan payments, get a copy of your statement, and more.  All you need is your credit union account number and a photo ID.

To find a Shared Branching location near your home, work, or favorite vacation spot, simply check out the site at www.cuswirl.com to find the most convenient locations.

Mobile Text Banking is here!

April 12th, 2012

Now you have two ways to access your CIFCU account(s) using your mobile device.

 

Text message. Request and receive your account information via text message. (Text message is for informational purposes only. You cannot conduct transactions via text.)

Online Banking. Access your accounts through your mobile device’s Web browser at www.cifcu.org . Your phone will need to be Web-ready with a data package or Wi-Fi capability.

 

To access CIFCU Mobile Text Banking:

Sign-on to “It’s Me 247” (www.cifcu.org, Home Banking tab, Username, Password, Question)

Click on the “Go Mobile” button (far right on the bar in blue)

Click on “Text Banking Home” (left side)

Follow the Steps

Step 1 = Assign a Membership Nickname

Step 2 = Read and then Accept the Terms & Conditions by clicking the box

Step 3 = Read and then Accept the Fee Schedule by clicking the box

Step 4 = Click on Submit to continue

Step 5 = Click on the “Add New” next to “Currently Enrolled Phone Numbers”

Enter your mobile phone number (A text will be sent to this same phone number with your verification code.)

Enter your verification code and click “Enroll Phone”

 

What you can do with CIFCU’s Mobile Text Banking

Set up e-Alerts. Go to “It’s Me 247”, click on “My Messages”  and follow the instructions

Send a text to get information texted back to your phone

Text BAL to 46247 (short for “It’s Me 247”). The return message gives the available balance on 3 savings &/or checking accounts tied to the phone number

Note: BAL requests count as 2 texts (1 to CIFCU, 1 back to you but the first 15 texts each month are Free!)
